Dr Karyn Lun

​Dr Karyn Lun is a University of Queensland graduate with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery. After working as a general practitioner for five years, she commenced her Fellowship with the Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD). During her Fellowship, she had the opportunity to spend a year at the prestigious St Johns Institute of Dermatology, St Thomas’ Hospital London.
In 2004, Dr Lun undertook a further year of subspecialty training in Sydney, completing a Mohs micrographic surgery and laser fellowship. She is on the approved ACD Mohs Micrographic surgeon list, one of 9 in Queensland and eight female dermatologists in Australia. She is also a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery.

Dr Lun is a Senior Visiting Medical Officer at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital. She has a strong commitment to patients and teaching junior doctors at the Queensland Institute of Dermatology.

​​Her interests include skin cancer and Mohs surgery and reconstruction and general dermatology – disorders of the skin, hair and nails.
