Dr Godfrey Wagner is a University of Queensland graduate with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

He elected to take the opportunity to train in Dermatology in Durham, England studying with Adrian Ive. He satisfied the requirement to join the Royal College of Physicians , Dermatology by obtaining general physician qualification.

Upon his return to Australia, Dr Wagner completed a Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

Dr Wagner specialises in general dermatology, skin cancer therapy, dermatology service provision to remote and rural areas and teaching at all levels, including continuing professional development.

Dr Wagner is the Co-Director of Training for the Queensland faculty of Australasian College of Dermatologist’s overseeing and advising all Queensland Registrars, including the five at the Queensland Institute of Dermatology.

He is a foundation director of the Queensland Institute of Dermatology and Visiting Medical Officer at Greenslopes Private Hospital.
